IEEE Systems Journal
The IEEE Systems Journal (ISJ) is the technical journal of the IEEE Systems Council, and is published quarterly.
SCOPE: This journal is created to provide a systems-level focused forum for application-oriented manuscripts that address complex systems and system-of-systems of national and global significance. It is intended to encourage and facilitate cooperation and interaction among IEEE societies, and other professional societies, with systems-level and systems engineering interest.
The journal is intended to stimulate awareness, appreciation and utilization of systems thinking and the supporting systems engineering disciplines, especially for complex systems, systems-of-systems, and complex cyber-physical systems, across many domains and application areas.
For more information, please visit the Scope page.
SPECIAL ISSUES: This journal welcomes proposals for special issues and sections on key topics within or related to its scope, in hot or emerging areas as well as in interdisciplinary fields.
Joint issues with Council member Societies’ publications are also considered in an effort to target segments of scientists and professionals from industry in specific domain of common interest concerning systems thinking, complex systems, and systems-of-systems.
